Komodo Wae Rebo  4 Day 3 Night combines two of Flores’ most iconic experiences — the Komodo dragons of Komodo National Park and the traditional mountain village of Wae Rebo.
It’s an ambitious yet rewarding itinerary that allows you to experience both Flores’ wildlife and culture within a manageable timeframe.

You’ll hike to legendary viewpoints, encounter the world’s largest lizard, and share an unforgettable night in a traditional conical house high in the mountains.

Itinerary

Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Komodo National Park – Sunset Cruise

Morning

  • Arrive at Komodo Airport, Labuan Bajo.
  • Meet your guide and transfer to Labuan Bajo Harbor.
  • Board a private speedboat to explore Komodo National Park — private charter ensures flexible timing.

Highlights:

  • Padar Island: Hike to the iconic viewpoint for sweeping panoramic views.
  • Komodo or Rinca Island: Trek with a park ranger to spot Komodo dragons in their natural habitat.
  • Pink Beach: Snorkel in clear turquoise water and relax on the rare pink coral sand.

Afternoon / Evening

  • Enjoy a sunset cruise back to Labuan Bajo.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Labuan Bajo.

Day 2: Labuan Bajo – Denge Village (Start of Wae Rebo Trek)

Morning

  • Leisurely breakfast in Labuan Bajo.
  • Visit Batu Cermin Cave (Mirror Stone Cave), known for its unique light reflections.
  • Lunch in Labuan Bajo before departing.

Afternoon

  • Begin the scenic and bumpy drive to Denge Village (approx. 3–4 hours).
  • Arrive in Denge by late afternoon and start the trek to Wae Rebo (2–3 hours uphill).

Evening

  • Arrive in Wae Rebo Village, a UNESCO-recognized traditional Manggarai settlement.
  • Dinner and overnight in a traditional cone-shaped house (Mbaru Niang).

Day 3: Wae Rebo Cultural Immersion – Denge

Morning

  • Experience the serenity of Wae Rebo village life at sunrise.
  • Participate in local cultural activities (when available).
  • Learn about the community’s architecture, weaving, and ancestral traditions.
  • Lunch in Wae Rebo before descending.

Afternoon

  • Hike back down to Denge Village (2–3 hours).

Evening

  • Stay overnight in a simple local homestay in Denge.
  • Dinner and rest after the trek.

Day 4: Denge – Labuan Bajo – Departure

Morning

  • Breakfast in Denge.
  • Drive back to Labuan Bajo (approx. 3–4 hours).

Afternoon

  • Optional time for souvenir shopping or lunch in town (depending on your flight schedule).
  • Transfer to Komodo Airport for your departure flight.
