Komodo Tour & Wae Rebo 4 Days 3 Nights itinerary blends two of Flores’ signature worlds into one continuous journey.
Your first days drift between coral-bright waters and sculpted landscapes of Komodo National Park Padar’s ridges, Pink Beach’s rare hues, and the quiet, ancient presence of the Komodo dragons.
Then the route rises inland toward the Manggarai mountains, where a forest trek leads to Wae Rebo, a traditional village known for its seven conical houses and gentle hospitality.
This program offers a richer pace than the 3D2N version, giving travelers space to breathe, explore, and enjoy Flores’ diversity.
ITINERARY
Day 1
Arrival in Labuan Bajo – Komodo National Park
- Pick-up from airport or hotel
- Board the fast boat or wooden boat (depending on package)
- Sail to Kelor Island for a short scenic trek and snorkeling
- Continue to Manjarite for calm, clear-water snorkeling
- Stop at Kalong Island to watch thousands of flying foxes rise at dusk
- Return to Labuan Bajo
- Overnight at hotel
Day 2
Full Day Komodo Tour
- Sail to Padar Island for a panoramic ridge trek
- Visit Komodo Island for ranger-guided dragon encounter
- Relax or snorkel at Pink Beach, known for its coral-tinted sand
- Optional: Taka Makassar and Manta Point (weather permitting)
- Return to Labuan Bajo
- Free evening to explore town or waterfront
- Overnight at hotel
Day 3
Labuan Bajo – Denge – Trek to Wae Rebo
- Start overland journey toward the Manggarai mountains
- Stop at Lembor rice terraces for panoramic photos
- Continue to Denge Village, starting point of the trek
- Begin the forest hike through lush highland terrain
- Arrive at Wae Rebo Village, welcomed with traditional ceremony
- Free time to learn about daily life, weaving, architecture, and coffee production
- Dinner in the communal roundhouse
- Overnight inside a Mbaru Niang house
Day 4
Wae Rebo – Denge – Labuan Bajo – Departure
- Morning views of the village surrounded by drifting mist
- Breakfast and coffee prepared by the local hosts
- Farewell to villagers
- Trek back down to Denge
- Lunch en route
- Drive back to Labuan Bajo
- Drop-off at hotel or airport
