Itinerary

Day 1 – Labuan Bajo – Melo – Lembor – Cancar – Ruteng Pu’u – Ruteng

  • Melo Village – Experience the famous Caci Dance, Manggarai’s traditional whip-fighting ceremony symbolizing courage and respect.
  • Lembor Area – The largest rice field region in Flores, stretching across green valleys with mountain backdrops — a perfect photo stop.
  • Cancar Village (Spider Web Rice Fields) – Visit the Lodok, Manggarai’s unique circular land division system symbolizing equality among clans.
  • Ruteng Pu’u Village – A traditional Manggarai village with conical houses and ancient ritual stones.

Day 2 – Ruteng – Ranamese Lake – Aimere – Bajawa

  • Ranamese Lake – A tranquil crater lake surrounded by rainforest and birdlife.
  • Aimere Village – Learn about traditional arak (sopi) distillation using bamboo tubes and clay stoves.
  • Continue to Bajawa, a highland town known for its cool climate, coffee, and Ngada culture.
  • Optional short visit to Manulalu viewpoint for sweeping views of Mount Inerie (if time allows).
  • Drop-off at hotel in Bajawa or transfer to Ende (for flight next day).
