Komodo Open Trip  3 Days 2 Nights

Shared Phinisi Boat Adventure

Sail across the breathtaking Komodo National Park with a traditional wooden phinisi boat, discovering world-class snorkeling spots, exotic wildlife, and iconic landscapes. Ideal for solo travelers, couples, and small groups.

Day 1 – Labuan Bajo – Kelor Island – Manjarite – Kalong Island

Kelor Island

  • A small island with white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush hills.

  • A short 15-minute trek to the hilltop gives panoramic views of Flores and nearby islands.

  • Snorkeling around the reef reveals colorful corals and tropical fish.

Manjarite

  • A calm snorkeling spot with shallow, crystal-clear waters.

  • Known for soft corals, starfish, and schooling reef fish.

  • Perfect for both beginners and experienced snorkelers due to its gentle currents.

Kalong Island

  • Famous for the evening spectacle of thousands of flying foxes (giant bats).

  • At sunset, they soar out of the mangrove forest, filling the sky as the sun dips into the horizon.

  • A magical and unique wildlife encounter.

Day 2 – Padar Island – Pink Beach – Komodo / Rinca – Manta Point – Taka Makassar

Padar Island

  • The most iconic viewpoint in Komodo National Park.

  • A sunrise hike (30–40 min) to the summit rewards with sweeping views of three bays, each with different colored sands (white, black, and pinkish).

  • One of the most photographed spots in Indonesia.

Pink Beach

  • One of only a few pink-sand beaches in the world.

  • The pink hue comes from crushed red coral mixed with white sand.

  • Excellent for snorkeling — reefs close to shore are full of clownfish, parrotfish, and colorful corals.

Komodo Island / Rinca Island

  • Both islands are natural habitats of the Komodo dragon, the world’s largest living lizard.

  • Guided trekking with park rangers gives you the chance to see Komodo dragons in the wild along with deer, wild boar, and tropical birds.

  • Rinca tends to be less crowded, while Komodo is the namesake of the park.

Manta Point

  • One of the top snorkeling spots in Komodo.

  • Known for encounters with graceful manta rays, some with wingspans over 3 meters.

  • Swimming with these gentle giants is an unforgettable highlight.

Taka Makassar (Sandbar Island)

  • A tiny, crescent-shaped sandbar surrounded by shallow turquoise water.

  • A dreamy place for walking, swimming, or simply relaxing on the white sand.

  • Often paired with snorkeling nearby.

Day 3 – Siaba Island / Kanawa Island – Labuan Bajo

Siaba Island (Turtle Point)

  • Nicknamed “Turtle City” because of its high population of sea turtles.

  • Snorkelers often encounter green sea turtles gliding gracefully among coral gardens.

  • Calm waters make it a top snorkeling destination.

Kanawa Island

  • A picturesque island with soft white sand and crystal-clear water.

  • Great for snorkeling: vibrant corals, colorful reef fish, and starfish can be found just off the beach.

  • Perfect last stop to relax and enjoy paradise before returning to Labuan Bajo.
