Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Denge – Wae Rebo (100 KM, +/- 5 Hours Drive & 3 Hours Trekking)
- Pick-up from your accommodation in Labuan Bajo.
- Scenic drive to Denge Village, the starting point for trekking to Wae Rebo Village.
- Trek 9 KM through lush rainforest (±3 hours) to reach Wae Rebo, a UNESCO-recognized traditional village.
- Experience the warm hospitality of the Manggarai people and learn about their centuries-old traditions.
- Overnight at one of the traditional cone-shaped houses (Mbaru Niang).
Day 2: Wae Rebo – Denge – Ruteng (70 KM, +/-3.5 Hours Drive)
- Enjoy breakfast while immersing in the serene atmosphere of Wae Rebo.
- Interact with the villagers and learn about their daily life.
- Trek down back to Denge Village.
- Drive to Ruteng, stopping at Cancar Village to see the spectacular Lodok (spider-web rice fields), a unique agricultural system of the Manggarai people.
- Check-in at your chosen accommodation in Ruteng.
Day 3: Ruteng – Bajawa (135 KM, +/-5 Hours Drive)
- Depart from Ruteng to Bajawa with scenic stops along the way.
- Visit Ranamese Crater Lake, a stunning lake surrounded by a dense forest.
- Stop at Aimere Village, famous for the traditional Moke (palm liquor) distillation process.
- Arrive in Bajawa, check-in at your accommodation, and enjoy a relaxing evening.
Day 4: Bajawa – Riung (70 KM, +/- 3 Hours Drive)
- Visit Bena Village, one of the most well-preserved traditional villages in Flores, where you can interact with locals and learn about their unique megalithic culture.
- Stop at So’a Hot Springs for a relaxing natural bath.
- Continue driving to Riung, check-in at your accommodation.
Day 5: Full-Day Excursion at Riung 17 Islands Marine Park
- After breakfast, transfer to the Riung harbor and board a local wooden boat.
- Visit Kalong Island, home to thousands of flying foxes (fruit bats).
- Snorkeling at Bako/Tembang Island, known for its pristine coral reefs.
- Continue to Tiga Island and Rutong Island for more snorkeling and beach relaxation.
- Return to Riung and transfer to your accommodation.
Day 6: Riung – Moni (185 KM, +/- 7 Hours Drive)
- Depart from Riung and drive along the coastal and mountain roads of Flores.
- Stop at Blue Stone Beach (Pantai Panggajawa), a unique beach covered in smooth blue pebbles.
- Continue to Wologai Village, a well-preserved Lio tribal village with traditional houses.
- Arrive in Moni, check-in at your accommodation.
Day 7: Moni – Kelimutu – Maumere / Ende (100 KM / 50 KM, +/- 3-4 Hours Drive)
- Early morning departure (4 AM) to witness the spectacular Kelimutu Three-Colored Lakes.
- A 45-minute drive, followed by a 30-minute hike to the summit.
- Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise view over the mystical color-changing lakes.
- Walk back to the parking area and return to Moni for breakfast.
- Drive to Maumere or Ende, with stops for scenic photography along the way.
- Drop-off at your accommodation or airport for your next destination.
