This 6-day adventure combines the cultural wonders of Wae Rebo Village with the natural beauty of Komodo National Park. Begin your journey in Labuan Bajo, trekking through lush forests to the remote Wae Rebo Village, where you will experience traditional Manggarai culture. Continue to Ruteng and explore the ancient Liang Bua Cave, home to the remains of the “Hobbit of Flores.” The second half of the journey takes you on a breathtaking island-hopping adventure, where you will trek to the panoramic viewpoints of Padar Island, witness the legendary Komodo dragons, and snorkel in crystal-clear waters filled with marine life. Itinerary
Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Lembor – Nangalili – Wae Rebo (L/D)
- Pick up from Labuan Bajo airport/hotel and drive to Lembor Village, home to the largest rice fields in western Flores.
- Continue to Nangalili and then to Denge Village, the starting point for the trek to Wae Rebo Village.
- Trek for approximately 3 hours through the forest to reach Wae Rebo, a traditional village known for its unique architecture and cultural heritage.
- Spend time interacting with the local community to learn about their daily life and traditions.
- Lunch en route, dinner, and overnight stay at a traditional house in Wae Rebo.
Day 2: Wae Rebo – Denge – Iteng – Ruteng (B/L)
- Breakfast at Wae Rebo, then trek down back to Denge or Dintor Village.
- Drive towards Ruteng via Iteng Village, passing through scenic landscapes.
- Visit the local market in Ruteng before checking in at your accommodation.
- Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3: Ruteng – Liang Bua Cave – Lembor – Labuan Bajo (B/L/D)
- Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for Golo Curu Hill for a short hike with panoramic views.
- Walk through Kilo Lima’s rice fields before heading to Liang Bua Cave, the archaeological site where the remains of Homo floresiensis (the Hobbit of Flores) were discovered.
- Lunch in Ruteng, then drive back to Labuan Bajo via Lembor.

Day 4: Labuan Bajo – Kelor Island – Menjerite Snorkeling – Kalong Island (L/D)
- Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the harbor to board a wooden boat.
- Sail to Kelor Island for a short trek to enjoy panoramic views.
- Continue to Menjerite, a prime snorkeling spot with vibrant coral reefs.
- Cruise to Kalong Island to witness thousands of fruit bats flying out from the mangrove forest at sunset.

Day 5: Padar Island – Long Beach – Pink Beach – Komodo Island (B/L/D)

- Sail to Long Beach for swimming and snorkeling.
- Continue to Pink Beach, known for its unique pink-hued sand and vibrant marine life.
- Head to Komodo Island for an afternoon trek to see the Komodo dragons and other wildlife.
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on the boat.
Day 6: Taka Makasar/Manta Point – Siaba Island – Kanawa Island – Labuan Bajo (B/L)
- Breakfast on the boat, then sail to Taka Makasar and Manta Point for snorkeling, with the chance to see manta rays (sightings depend on luck and weather conditions).
- Continue to Siaba Island, a snorkeling paradise where sea turtles are often spotted.
- Head to Kanawa Island for the final snorkeling and relaxation stop.
- Return to Labuan Bajo’s harbor, then transfer to your hotel or the airport for your next destination.
