8 Days Flores Overland Tour Package

8 Days Flores Overland Tour Package was a tour package which provides you to explore the beauty of Flores Island. The journey will start by visiting Kelimutu volcano to witness the stunning three color lakes in the early morning.

Day 1
(Airport-Moni approximately Drive 1,5 hours) -/-/-

On the first day of this trip, the tour guide will wait to greet you in Ende Airport. From the airport, you will drive to your Hotel in Moni, and on the way there, you can stop over for lunch or take some beautiful pictures of the landscape. Upon arrival in Moni, you will check in to your hotel or local homestay, and if you have enough time in the afternoon, the tour guide will bring you to see the local market and then stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 2
(Moni – Kelimutu – Riung)  Breakfast/-/-

Early in the morning at 04:00 you will drive to kelimutu 3 colours lakes to see the sunrise. From your Moni to Kelimutu parking area is about a 30 minutes drive and you will drive through the hillside and the extreme turn. Once you reach the parking side, the tour guide will lead you to walk about 30 minutes to the sunrise point.
The sunrise usually appears at 05:15 am, and the view of 3 colors of lake will greet you during the sunrise. After the sunrise, you will go back to your hotel in Moni for breakfast and then check out to Riung.

The travel time from Moni to Riung is about  5 hours drive. On the way there, you will stop over Blue stone beach for lunch. After lunch, you can relax or just take pictures on the beach with those natural blue gravel stones.
Upon arrival at your homestay in riung villsge, you can check in and stay overnight. Because of the limited place for dinner, you can ask your Tour guide to book the dinner a day before you arrive in Riung.

Day 3
(Riung 17 Island Adventure)  Breakfast/Lunch/-
Riung –  Flying fox Island – Tiga Island – Rutong Island

On the third day of this tour, the tour guide will lead you to the harbor of 17 Island Riung. The local wooden boat will wait for you there to sail around the National Park. First destination on this tour is Flying Fox Island. On this Island you will see thousands of bat fruits hanging on the trees around the Island. The boat captain will bring you up close and you can capture those bats on your camera or just to amaze those beautiful creatures in nature.

From Flying Fox Island the boat will sail to Tiga Island. On this Island you can snorkeling or swimming on the crystal clear water. Snorkeling on this Island will give you a chance to see a lot of beautiful fish, corals and other underwater life, because the sea conditions are calm and clear.

While you snorkeling, the boat crew will prepare the fish barbecue on the beach for your lunch. And after lunch, the boat will sail to Rutong Island for another snorkeling. After snorkeling here, you will go back to the main Island, and stay overnight.

Day 4 
(Riung – So’a hot spring – Bajawa)  Breakfast/-/-

After breakfast, you will check out and drive to Bajawa. Before arriving in Bajawa, you will stop over So’a hot spring water to relax and swim in the natural hot spring swimming pool. From here, the driver will drive you to your hotel to check in and stay overnight.

Day 5 
(Bena – Trekking to Tololela – Malanage Hot Spring) Breakfast/Lunch/

On the third day of this 8D7N tour, you will visit traditional villages and Malanage hot spring water around Bajawa. After breakfast at the hotel, you will directly check out from the hotel or your homestay and drive to Bena traditional village. Bena is a megalithic village located in Ngada Regency, Flores NTT, to be precise in Tiwuriwu Village, Aimere District.

Currently Bena Village consists of approximately 45 houses that surround each other with 9 tribes that inhabit these houses, namely the Dizi tribe, Dizi Azi tribe, Wahto tribe, Deru Lalulewa tribe, Deru Solamae tribe, Ngada tribe, Khopa tribe, and the ago tribe.

From this Megalithic village, you will have soft trekking to Tololela traditional Village. It takes around 1,5 hours approximately. On the way there, you will see a lot of local vegetation including the spices which grow well in the area. Upon arrival in Tololela, the local tour guide will bring you around the village and  explain to you about their culture and traditions. After visits, you will have with the locals in the traditional house. After lunch, you will visit Malanage hot spring water to relax the muscles. From Malanage hot spring you will go back to your hotel or homestay to stay overnight .

Day 6
(Bajawa – Aimere – Ruteng)  Breakfast/-/-

Today you will drive to the small town Ruteng, the travel time is about 5 hours drive.  Before you arrive there, you will stop over in Aimere village to see the process of local alcohol (Arak). After this arak process, you will drive about 1 hour to arrive in Borong, and we will have lunch in the local restaurant here. From Borong, you will straight to Ruteng to check in to your hotel and stay overnight.

Day 7
(Ruteng –  Wae rebo approximately Drive 3 hours) Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

In the morning after breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and begin the tour to Wae rebo. On this Wae rebo Tour, you will drive to exotic Wae rebo traditional village for about 3 hours to arrive in Denge Village.
Denge Village is a gate for tracking to Wae Rebo Village. To reach this village, you usually need around three hours of soft tracking, because you will hike in the slopes of mountains before arriving. Upon arrival in Wae Rebo, you will get a warm welcome from locals. And then stay overnight in a local guest house with the other guest.

Day 8
Wae rebo – Labuan bajo approximately Drive 4 hours) Breakfast/ Lunch / –

On the fifth day of this Tour, you will have breakfast with locals, and after that Enjoy the village and interact with the local community and learn about their way of life and their unique culture before leaving the village. From Wae Rebo, the tour guide will lead you down to Denge village then drive to Labuan bajo, and Stop for a lunch in Lembor. After lunch you will continue to drive to Labuan bajo and check in to your hotel. By the arrival in Labuan bajo,  the 8 Days Flores Overland Tour Package is finished.
