Day 1 – Labuan Bajo → Melo → Lembor → Denge → Wae Rebo

Lembor 🌾

Denge Village 🏡
The base point for trekking to Wae Rebo. A small rural village surrounded by forests and hills. -
Wae Rebo Village 🛖
UNESCO-awarded traditional Manggarai village, nestled at 1,200m above sea level. Famous for its Mbaru Niang cone-shaped houses and strong cultural traditions. Guests can stay overnight in a communal house, eat local food, and experience authentic village life.
Day 2 – Wae Rebo → Denge → Cancar → Ruteng

Cancar – Spider Web Rice Fields (Lingko) 🕸️
Unique Manggarai land division system where rice fields are shaped like giant spider webs, radiating from a central point. Only found in Flores. -
Ruteng 🏙️
A cool highland town, known as Flores’s “rice barn.” Surrounded by hills, monasteries, and local markets. Overnight stay here offers a relaxing mountain atmosphere.
Day 3 – Ruteng → Golo Curu → Ranamese → Aimere → So’a → Bajawa

A viewpoint just outside Ruteng. Offers sunrise views over Ruteng town, rice fields, and surrounding mountains. -
Ranamese Lake 🌳
A small volcanic crater lake shrouded in dense forest. A peaceful stop for photography and birdwatching. -
Aimere Village 🍶
Famous for arak/moke distillation. You can watch locals produce this traditional palm wine using bamboo pipes and clay stoves. Tasting is optional. -
So’a Hot Springs 💦
Natural thermal springs near Bajawa. A perfect spot to relax and soak in warm mineral water pools surrounded by greenery. -
Bajawa 🌄
A charming mountain town known for Ngada culture, volcano views, and traditional villages. Great base for exploring the highlands.
Day 4 – Bajawa → Bena → Wologai → Nduaria → Blue Stone Beach → Moni

Bena Village 🏯
The most famous Ngada traditional village. Distinctive stone altars, megalithic culture, and conical houses preserved for centuries. Villagers often show weaving and daily activities. -
Wologai Village 🛖
Traditional village of the Lio tribe. Houses arranged in a circle with sacred ancestral shrines. Rich in myth, rituals, and preserved architecture. -
Nduaria Market 🍌🥭
A small roadside local market where villagers sell fruits, vegetables, and spices. A great place to taste tropical fruits like passion fruit or rambutan. -
Blue Stone Beach (Penggajawa) 🔵
A coastal beach famous for its smooth, naturally blue and turquoise stones. Perfect for photo stops and a short beach walk. -
Moni Village 🌿
A small town at the foot of Mount Kelimutu. Known for its cool weather, coffee plantations, and art shops. Overnight stay before the Kelimutu sunrise hike.
Day 5 – Moni → Kelimutu → Ende/Maumere

The highlight of Flores! An easy 30-min trek to the summit for sunrise. Famous for its three crater lakes that change colors due to volcanic minerals. Considered sacred by locals. -
Ende Town 🏙️
A coastal town with history, markets, and as a gateway for flights. Also known for Bung Karno’s exile house. -
Maumere 🌊
Largest town in Flores with a more laid-back vibe. Beautiful coastal views and airport for onward flights.
